• In the mountains the weather is cold and dry and the temperature fluctuates between 9 and 18 degrees, depending on time of day. The sun usually shines every morning of the year, but when night falls dial thermometers reach only 5 ºC.
• In the jungle the climate is tropical, hot and humid and the average temperature is 25ºC to 28 ºC.
